We are a friendly and ambitious full symphony orchestra playing concerts at venues across Cornwall. We rehearse in Truro on a Monday evening but attract players from all over Cornwall. Our concerts range from full symphonies and concertos with professional soloists through to our family concerts to encourage the next generation of players. We also run other events to encourage and develop the performance of classical music across Cornwall.
We are always open to new players and are particularly looking to expand our string sections. We also have places for orchestral trumpet and trombone players. Players come from a wide variety of musical backgrounds so please get in touch if you are interested in joining us. An audition is NOT required and we believe the orchestra is friendly, open and supportive.

It’s tonight! Come along and join us for a feast of classical music at Kea Church tonight. https://t.co/ILi09TvSHl
On Saturday we will be playing Arnold's Cornish Dances. Sir Malcolm had a deep connection with Cornwall, its musical culture and was a bard of the Cornish Gorseth @GorsedhKernow. The work displays his affection for the Cornish, musical excellence and his infamous sense of humour. https://t.co/kQjJoJTKf0
So this is happening the day after our own summer concert... so go to both! 😍
(and see if you can spot how many players there are in common...)
