Cornwall Concert Orchestra are back with their 3rd Annual Family Concert on Saturday 4th November. The concert gives the opportunity for all ages to experience a full orchestra playing well-known tunes in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Following on from the “Frozen” and “Film” themes of the first two events, this time it’s the turn of “Animals”. Music on A Summer’s Evening Cornwall Concert Orchestra are holding their summer concert at St Kea Church near Truro on Saturday 22nd July at 7:30pm. In a programme that has something for everyone, lighter pieces by Elgar, Vaughan Williams and Anderson are contrasted with more intense works Berlioz and Beethoven. The concert also features a chance for our oboe player to shine in Ennio Morricone’s music from the film ‘The Mission’.

Spring Concert Cornwall Concert Orchestra Following the success for last year’s concert, the Cornwall Concert Orchestra will be back in Penzance for its Spring Concert. The concert will feature local violinist Martin White performing a beautiful Beethoven Violin Romance with a supporting programme of Beehoven's Coriolan Overture, Berlioz’s March to the Scaffold and Schubert’s Great Symphony. The Great Symphony was Schubert’s last symphonic work and features a grand over-arching structure with moments described as ‘orchestral weirdness’
