Rehearsals

We rehearse on Monday evenings in Truro from 7:45pm to 9:15pm at All Saints Church, Highertown, Tresawls Road, Truro, TR1 3LD.

Players travel to rehearsals from all over Cornwall so if transport is a problem please get in touch as it may be possible to arrange a lift or car share.

Please arrive in plenty of time and be ready to play at the start of the rehearsal proper at 7.45pm. The hall is open for our use from 7:30pm to allow time to set up the room, get seated comfortably, and prepare instruments, music and materials.

We normally rehearse right through without a break but the format may change from week to week, combining full orchestra rehearsals with smaller sectional rehearsals led by experienced music professionals.

After rehearsal some players get together for a post-rehearsal chat and drink, usually at the County Arms, two minutes’ drive away towards the city centre. We talk about anything and everything, not just music. Please come along if you can!

COVID MEASURES

Please bring your own music stand.  We ask that wind players bring a towel to avoid leaving moisture on the floor.
