We’re back!!  After many months without rehearsals, slowly coming back together in small, spaced out sectionals, and then finally full orchestra rehearsals that *almost* feel like normal (I think we could all get used to having our own stands!!), we’re thrilled to be putting on our first post-Covid concert.  And what a better way to kick things off than with a favourite staple in the CoCO calendar, our family friendly concert in Mylor Theatre.

The programme has been planned to introduce the audience to all the various instruments of the orchestra via a variety of musical styles and emotions.

These range from the lighthearted Toccata by Erickson, to Schubert’s charming and vivacious Overture to Rosamunde.

Also included are the last movement of Mozart’s well known and tuneful Symphony no. 40, the Prelude and Procession of the Toreadors from Bizet’s popular Carmen suite, and the energetic Dance of the Gaditanae and Victory of Spartacus by Kachaturian.

The concert will be enjoyable for regular classical music audiences, through to children who have never experienced the excitement of a live orchestra before, and everyone in between!

Tickets are free for under 14s, or £5 for everyone else.  Purchase them here.
